Step into the world where digital design meets real-world sound. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how a fully functional electric guitar can be designed, 3D printed, and assembled from modular parts.
This class walks you through the full process—from understanding the anatomy of a guitar to assembling a playable instrument using 3D-printed components. No prior luthiery or 3D printing experience is required.
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of instrument design and a guitar build you helped bring to life.
This is a two-part workshop, one week apart. The first session will involve personalizing the part files to make the guitar your own. During the week in between sessions we will print your custom parts. The second session we will assemble the kit so you can take your custom guitar home with you.
This workshop will be run by Kevin Stillerman of the 3D print zone
You can see pictures of various versions of his 3D printed guitars on his website.
