In this 2-hour workshop we'll go through the workflow to make a custom 3d printable light box. Participants are welcome to follow along with their own design during the CAD portion. The lesson will also include preparing your design for printing, installing the LED's, and working with a 3D printer.

We will 3D print your design for a small fee, depending on size, etc.

What you’ll learn:

• How to use CAD (Onshape) to design a custom light box
• How to use slicer software to prepare to 3D print your light box using 2 or more colors
• How to start a 3D print and increase the chance of a successful print.
• How to work with LEDs, including soldering, connecting to power supply, etc

What’s included:

• Step by step instructions, screen will be shared on a projector
• Hands on time at the soldering station (optional)
• Workbenches, power strips, chairs, hands on 3D printer time.
